The International Conference on Analytical Techniques for Heritage Studies and Conservation

May 6-9, 2025 | Perugia, Italy

The Institute of Heritage Science (ISPC) of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) is co-organizing TECHNART 2025, in collaboration with the CNR’s Institute of Chemical Sciences and Technologies “Giulio Natta” (SCITEC), the University of Perugia, and the Italian node of the European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science (E-RIHS).

The ninth edition of this premier international conference on heritage science will take place in Perugia (Italy), from May 6 to 9, bringing together leading researchers, professionals, and institutions to discuss the latest advancements in innovative multi- and interdisciplinary methodologies for art, archaeology and cultural heritage conservation.

Conference Topics

Over four days, TECHNART 2025 will cover a wide range of topics, including:

  • X-ray-based analytical methodologies
  • Synchrotron radiation and neutron-based techniques

E-RIHS Special Session

Perugia, an ancient Etruscan city and home to artists like Perugino, Pinturicchio, and Gerardo Dottori, is a renowned academic hub. It is also the birthplace of MOLAB, the mobile laboratory of E-RIHS, making it a fitting location for the E-RIHS special session at TECHNART 2025.

The E-RIHS special session will showcase the results of:
