MA-XRF CONFERENCE – PARIS

Extended the Abstract submission deadline to May 4th to participate in the MA-XRF Conference!

The event will take place in Paris between September 29th and October 2nd to bring together researchers in MA-XRF and complementary imaging techniques to study cultural and natural heritage.  Macro X-ray Fluorescence (MA-XRF) is a non-destructive technique that analyses inorganic elements in large-scale artworks. It scans surfaces to create 2D chemical maps, revealing hidden layers, pigments, and artistic techniques.

The conference topic not only focuses on this technique, but also includes Reflectance Imaging Spectroscopy (RIS), Luminescence Imaging Spectroscopy (LIS), X-Ray Diffraction Mapping (XRD), Confocal XRF (CXRF), and more.

The conference will take place at the National Museum of Natural History; the October 2nd session at the Ecole du Louvre will be devoted to the specific issues facing museum curators. (Map of the locations https://maxrf2026.sciencesconf.org/resource/acces?lang=en )
