The Association of Young Researchers in Heritage Science Slovenia (HERI SCI) and University of Primorska – UNESCO Chair in Interpretation and Education for Enhancing Integrated Heritage Approaches, in partnership with European Students Association for Cultural Heritage and the European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science, are coordinating the organisation of the 1st International Conference of Young Researchers in Heritage Science, taking place on Thursday, 10th April 2025 at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Primorska, Slovenia. The event is is represents a brand-new occasion for emerging professionals in the field of heritage science to gather and exchange perspectives, to showcase their projects and engage in fruitful discussions.
The event will be structured across two thematic sessions with research presentations held by early-stage researchers and postdoctoral scholars. After the two sessions, there will be a final roundtable discussion, where international experts, cultural heritage managers, and policymakers will discuss the role of cultural heritage in advancing sustainable development goals.
E-RIHS supports this event, seen as an important chance to connect with new talents and create new relationships with young professionals in heritage science. The E-RIHS official YouTube channel will broadcast this initiative by providing a livestreaming direct, promoting the discussions and the visibility of the event to a larger audience.
