CTinHS Lecture #04 | January 25, 2024

On January 25, 2024, will be held the 4th Lecture of the Current Topics in Heritage Science series.

At 3 pm we met Dr Emma Karoune, a specialist in Archaeobotany with a PhD from the Institute of Archaeology, University College London.

She is the Principal Investigator on the FAIR Phytolith Project (Historic England and Universitat Pompeu Fabra) funded by EOSC Life. Emma Karoune is a Software Sustainability Institute Fellow focusing on promoting a more accessible and inclusive research culture.

The 4th lecture will be an occasion to talk about Open Science, its important role in the archaeology field, the advantages of practising it and what are the barriers just to overcome.

CTinHS – Current Topics in the Heritage Science series are organized by emerging professionals of HS Academy, a collaborative initiative between IPERION HS and E-RIHS.
