In the frame of the 3rd conference of E-RIHS.si the Slovenian Node of the European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science, held in Izola on November 19, 2025, the E-RIHS.si Award for the Development of Heritage Science was presented to Dr. Vania Virgili, Director General of E-RIHS ERIC, and Dr. Polonca Ropret, Head of the E-RIHS ERIC National Node Committee, who successfully completed the process leading to the registration of E-RIHS as a European Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC).
After four years of Preparatory Phase and four years of Implementation Phase, on March 28, 2025 E-RIHS became an ERIC, moving from the status of a project to a consortium, an entity with legal personality.
