E-RIHS ERIC Opens Vacancy for Financial Officer at the Central Hub in Florence 

E-RIHS ERIC is currently opening a new position for a Financial Officer to join the Central Hub in Florence. 

The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial and administrative management of E-RIHS ERIC. Working closely with the Director General and external consultants, the selected candidate will be responsible for budget preparation, financial reporting, accounting, and procurement procedures, ensuring compliance with national, European, and ERIC regulations. 

This full-time tenure-track position (36 hours per week) is offered under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement for Education and Research (CCNL “Istruzione e Ricerca”, Level IV). The gross annual salary is €48,000, paid over 13 monthly instalments. The initial one-year contract may lead to a permanent position following evaluation. 

The ideal candidate shall have at least five years of proven experience in financial and administrative management, preferably within research infrastructures or international organisations. Demonstrated expertise in EU-funded project management and/or European Research Infrastructure Consortia (ERICs), proficiency in both English and Italian, and strong organisational and analytical skills are essential.
