Getty Conservation Institute has opened a position for a Senior Project Specialist (archaeological collections).
The optimal candidate is a conservation professional with a high level of experience in the conservation of archaeological collections and interest in research and education.
As Senior Project Manager will have a central role in the Getty Conservation Institute’s Collection Department: you’ll plan and manage conservation projects, research, and workshop related to collections of excavated materials across cultures and geographic regions.
The job will be based in Los Angeles, at the Getty Center.
Getty Conservation Institute is an international institute which promotes conservation techniques for works of art—objects, collections, buildings, and sites—on a global scale. The Institute supports the conservation community by conducting scientific research, providing education and training, organising investigation, and disseminating knowledge to preserve the world’s cultural heritage in all efforts.
