A new E-RIHS National Hub has been established in Slovenia
Heritage Science has recently successfully evolved into an important interdisciplinary scientific field, which includes modern research infrastructure and scientists of recognised excellence, who have been developing E-RIHS – European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science.
As part of the process, Slovenian heritage scientists have been very active and visible. On the 12th of June 2018, the Slovenian National Hub E-RIHS Slovenia was established, following the signature of the “Memorandum of Understanding Relating to the Establishment of the European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science – Slovenia”, by the General Director of the Institute of the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia, Jernej Hudolin and the Rector of the University of Ljubljana, Prof. Dr. Igor Papič.
This act is the foundation for further development of E-RIHS Slovenia and its involvement in E-RIHS EU.
