International Workshop in Florence: “Towards a European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science”

An international workshop entitled “Towards a European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science took place in Palazzo Vecchio, in Florence in March 29, 2017. Politicians and scientists talked together about the perspectives of the E-RIHS, that is a European research infrastructure for Heritage Science. Moreover, experts presented EU and global scenarios in Heritage Science. In addition, some scientists told successful science stories.

Specifically, the workshop included four sessions:

  1. Heritage science research: perspectives and infrastructures
  2. Heritage science research: EU and global scenarios
  3. Setting up the E-RIHS
  4. Science and innovation in E-RIHS: success stories and perspectives
