Achieved

1999-2002 – The EU network Labs-TECH joins 11 institutions working in heritage science from 8 coutries

2004-2009 – EU-Artech is the first I3 project including a Mobile Laboratory (MOLAB). EU-Artech counts 12 members from 8 countries

2009-2014 – The I3 project CHARISMA joins 21 members from 12 countries

2013.02.01 – Start of the project ARIADNE, aimed at integrating the European Research Infrastructures on archaeological datasets

2015.05.01 – The Integrating Activity IPERION CH starts, with 24 members from 13 countries

2017.01.31 – ARIADNE ends

2016.03.10 – Launch of the ESFRI Roadmap 2016 in Amsterdam. E-RIHS is now an ESFRI Project

2017.02.01 – Start of E-RIHS preparatory phase under the H2020-INFRADEV-2016-2 project E-RIHS PP,  G.A. N.739503

2017.03.29 – E-RIHS PP kick-off in Florence

2017.05.16 – E-RIHS PP 1st Interim Meeting in Heraklion

2017.09.12 – E-RIHS PP 2nd Interim Meeting in Prague

2018.02.21 – E-RIHS PP 1st Annual Meeting in Amsterdam

The way forward

2019.03 – Strategic documents for submitting E-RIHS ERIC proposal are ready

2019.04.30 – End of IPERION CH

2019 second half of the year – STEP 1 submission

2020.01.31 – End of E-RIHS PP

2020 second half of the year – ERIC status demanded with 3+ funding members. E-RIHS enters the transition phase

2021 second half of the year – E-RIHS ends its transition phase. Start of implementation phase of E-RIHS ERIC

2022 – E-RIHS status granted. E-RIHS starts access operations

2027 – Membership of 15+ attained. Steady-state ERIC fully functional
